we carried a 300lb speaker through 3' of snow so we could have good sound for out bands that were making the gruleing treck 2hrs through the snow to our nice little town.

it was rough to say the least.

BUT, the show went over so well and my band made lots of new friends.

it was very nice.

it's so nice to know that there are so many good bands around and it's nice to descover bands that were around that you missed out on. haha

currently listening to contrived's "pursuit of plots" lp

i finally look at all the unread deviations i had unread.
though i didnt comment on all of them and i'm sorry for that.

i know i've been ignoreing this for a long while but i feel like i should be writing again.

so i've been trying.

it was hard because i got in a LONG hardcore phase, and if i cant hear lyrics i cant be inspired. but hardcore is sweet, dont get me wrong. there's nothing like neil perry or orchid to get your blood pumping. but it just wasnt helping my writing.

so to try to help myself i've been listening to only jim yoshi pile up. who i must say is one of the best bands you could listen to (if you're into softer indie) it's like onld jimmy eat world, but not. yeah.

oh yeah. my dad is leaving tomorrow for which is the start of a new phase in my life. he's going to alberta, and we are following him in the summer.

so maybe that will inspire me a little.

well that's about all that's new with me.

so, what have i been doing?

on halloween i took shrooms.
that was a trip.
and quite the trip indeed.



as for music, right now it's nearly impossible to find new music to listen to...

so if anyone can leave a good band for me to check out i would love them, to DEATH...

i finaly heard the new lawrence arms album, and it's absolutly amazing.

a totaly differnt sound than that of apathy and exaustion, but just as good or better.

there's so much in this album i cant even describ it, other than if they wanted to have the sound of jawbreaker, but still be origonal the succeeded.

wow.


in other news, i got my haircut, it's short, no fro anymore, it's terrible, but i was forced.

no i hate my hair, but everyone says they like it.
i dont know wether i need glasses, or i have bad (or good?) friends... haha

and i got my grad blurb written, what an ordeal that was.
but everyone i wanted to put there is there, and it says just about everything i wanted to.
so i'm happy with that.

and my old shitty pop punk band, CBA, is getting back together, haha, we're playing the x-mas parade and doing a world tour from there. next and final stop is probably the school.
